I’m a specialist Quality, GMP and regulatory consultant based in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, working with life sciences companies across Scotland, the UK and internationally.
Background and experience
I’ve had two scientific careers, one as a microbiologist in Research and Development in small and large-scale manufacturing of novel products and a longer career in Quality across pharma, biotech, medical devices and Med/Tech.
The above gives me extensive insight into R+D, small scale manufacture, technology transfer and scale-up for validation.
I have a PhD in Biochemical Engineering, working on novel, dielectric spectroscopy methods of online monitoring and control of microbial fermentations.
I’ve led quality and regulatory functions for organisations ranging from venture-funded MedTech startups to global pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Most recently as Head of Quality at Cytomos Ltd, I built the entire QA and regulatory function from scratch.
